Small Change That Changes Lives
Since 2012, our Operation Round Up program has raised over $1.2 million in support of charitable, educational, community, and youth-related programs and events. Members allow the Cooperative to simply "round up" electric bills to the next highest dollar and that monthly contribution to the trust fund is as little as a penny, but never more than 99 cents. The concept behind the program is to extend the principle on which electric cooperatives were built over 80 years ago - neighbor-helping-neighbor.
Grant Application Process
Deadlines for submitting applications for funds are: March 20, June 20, September 20, and December 20. If the date lands on a weekend, the deadline will be on the Friday prior. Decisions regarding application grants are made within approximately one month after the respective deadline.
